Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a qualified professional to oversee U.S. GAAP compilations, reporting, and related attest services in a senior capacity. You will supervise staff, drive process improvements, and build strong client relationships across engagements.

The role requires 5+ years in attest services, knowledge of GAAP/GAAS/PCAOB standards, and excellent communication skills. CPA preferred; travel may be limited.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Master's Degree or other advanced degree is desirable.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience providing attest services in a professional services firm.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB Auditing Standards.
• Strong communication, public speaking, client service and relationship-building skills; initiative and problem solving; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of U.S. GAAP compilations and reporting, agreed-upon procedures, and special projects.
• Identify accounting, financial statement, and reporting issues based on professional guidelines incl. U.S. GAAP.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements based on client operations and objectives.
• Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with clients to deliver superior service.
• Supervise and lead staff through guidance and coaching; evaluate performance on engagements.
• Participate in training and networking to support professional development.
• Assist with recruiting activities, including campus recruiting and referral programs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, high ethical standards, and a positive attitude.
• Travel is limited but may be required.
