Job summary

JTC Group in Boston is seeking a fund administrator to oversee a client portfolio under the supervision of a Line Manager. You will demonstrate clear understanding of the portfolio, including risk awareness, relationship management and adherence to contractual and statutory obligations.

Responsibilities include day-to-day investor servicing/onboarding, accounting, reporting for private equity and real estate funds, and preparation of US GAAP statements.

Qualifications

• Private equity or fund administration experience (minimum 2 years).
• College degree in accounting, business, finance, mathematics or economics.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day investor servicing/onboarding, accounting, and reporting for private equity and real estate funds.
• Process general ledger activity for investor-level, fund-level, and investment-level transactions.
• Handle investor subscription documents and AML/KYC procedures.
• Prepare and review quarterly accounting packages and partner allocations.
• Assist with oversight and training of junior team members.
• Prepare and review US GAAP financial statements and partner capital statements.
• Ensure fund waterfall and management fee calculations comply with LP/LLC agreements.
• Prepare and review investor capital call and distribution notices.
• Assist external auditors during year-end audits.
• Interact with clients on day-to-day matters and ad-hoc queries.
• Participate in technology reviews and propose enhancements.
