Job summary

Gen II Fund Services, LLC is seeking a Fund Accounting Supervisor to lead daily operations for private equity funds and mentor a small team. You will oversee fund accounting, capital calls, distributions, financial statements, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in PE fund accounting, a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, and strong Excel/communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, or finance.
• 4+ years of Private Equity fund accounting experience.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Able to adapt to changes in processes rapidly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivots) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Fund Operations with Director/MD.
• Oversee the operations and accounting of an existing fund independently.
• Interface with client with limited guidance.
• Extract key economics from LPAs and document summaries.
• Supervise a small staff of accountants if necessary.
• Oversee setup of funds deliverables (capital calls, distributions, F/S, waterfalls, IRRs).
• Review financial reports and Private Equity complex transactions.
