Job summary

Gen II Fund Services, a leading tech-enabled Private Equity Fund Administrator, is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to join our growing team. You will lead and mentor accounting staff, manage fund operations, and interface with clients to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely deliverables.

You will work under the Director/Managing Director, overseeing capital calls, distributions, and complex private equity transactions, including waterfalls and IRRs, across multiple fund types.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics and/or Finance is required.
• 7+ years of Private Equity Fund/Investment Company Accounting & Reporting experience.
• Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities are essential.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel pivots, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Fund Operations in collaboration with Director/Managing Director.
• Oversee accounting for an existing fund independently.
• Interface with clients and internal teams with minimal guidance.
• Supervise a small accounting staff if required.
• Review and sign off on capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, and IRRs before Director/MD review.
