Job summary

Gen II Fund Services, LLC seeks a Supervisor to lead and mentor a team supporting private equity fund operations and accounting. You will manage daily fund operations, oversee existing fund accounting, interface with clients, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial deliverables.

You will collaborate with Directors/Managing Directors, review capital calls, distributions, and financial statements, and guide staff through complex private equity transactions, LPAs, and governance documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance required.
• 4+ years of Private Equity Fund accounting and reporting experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of Fund Operations with Director/MD guidance.
• Oversee accounting for existing funds independently.
• Interface with clients with limited guidance.
• Review LPAs and governing documents; summarize key economics.
• Supervise staff of accountants when needed.
• Oversee setup of client fund deliverables (capital calls, distributions, statements).
• Review financial reports and complex private equity transactions.
