Gen II Fund Services, LLC is seeking a Fund Accounting Director to lead day-to-day accounting and fund administration for multiple investment sponsors. You will review workpapers, investments, accruals, and statements, and coach a staff team while maintaining strong client relationships at the executive level.

Required: 7+ years in fund accounting, 5+ years supervising staff, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, deep US GAAP knowledge, and experience with capital calls, distributions, and complex

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of fund accounting experience in Private Equity or related financial institution.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics and/or Finance.
• Advanced knowledge of capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, and investor reporting.

Aufgaben

• Direct the day-to-day accounting and fund administration for multiple investment sponsors.
• Hands-on preparation and review of workpapers, investments, accruals, financial statements with footnotes, and investor allocations.
• Maintain heavy client interaction daily and communicate with executive-level clients.
• Lead, direct, and coach a team of Staff Accountants at several levels.
• Oversee initial setup of client funds deliverables (capital calls, distributions, statements, waterfalls) and sign off prior to MD review.
• Manage special projects as required.
