Apex Group is seeking an experienced fund accounting professional to join our private equity accounting team in the United States. The role focuses on SME activities around fund structures, waterfalls, investor economics and accounting policies.

You will review journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements, ensuring audit readiness and accuracy while supporting regulatory reporting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in accounting/finance; CPA/ACA preferred.
• 5+ years in private equity fund accounting or alternatives.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, ASC 946/820, waterfall mechanics, and investor economics.

Responsabilités

• Act as SME for fund structures, investor economics, waterfalls, and carried interest calculations.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements under US GAAP/IFRS.
• Support regulatory reporting (Form PF, Annex IV) and investor tax pack preparation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and collaborate on system enhancements.
