Job summary

Clearwaters.IT is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams. You will collaborate with business users, IT teams, and leadership to elaborate and document requirements and manage them in an ALM tool. The role emphasizes software development expertise and Agile/SAFe methodologies.

The position is 100% remote and requires US residency. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

Experience leading requirements capture for software development teams.
Strong collaboration with business users, IT teams and leadership.
Proficient in using ALM tools to manage requirements, epics and user stories.
Excellent communication and analytical skills for complex topics.

Responsibilities

Perform Agile requirements management for a product team and analyze user needs to determine functional, cross-functional and technical requirements.
Conduct user interviews and lead sessions, develop business process models and formal specifications.
Gather, document and manage business, functional, technical and non-technical requirements.
Elaborate user stories and decompose into backlog items with acceptance criteria.
Utilize Jira for requirements management, testing and defect tracking.
