Job summary

Clearwaters.IT is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to lead the capture of business requirements for software teams. You will collaborate with business users, IT teams, and leadership to elaborate and document requirements and manage them in Jira within an ALM framework.

The role is 100% remote and requires US residency and eligibility for a Public Trust clearance. Candidates should have strong experience in Agile/SAFe environments, healthcare/VA domains, and the ability to mentor junior

Qualifications

Must have Master's degree in engineering or related technical field with 10 years of experience; substitution allowed: 10 years additional relevant experience.
Strong communication skills for non-technical audiences; ability to elicit and document requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead Agile requirements management for product teams; elaborate and document business, functional and technical requirements.
Conduct user interviews and facilitate sessions; develop process models and formal specifications.
Gather and document requirements from customers, team members, stakeholders and contractors.
Refine user stories, decompose backlog items and define acceptance criteria.
Use Jira for requirements, testing and defect management; manage epics, stories and traceability.
Coordinate with Systems engineers to assess impact on solutions; manage project requirements.
Lead backlog refinement sessions and mentor junior analysts.
