Job summary

Spatial Front, Inc. seeks a Team Lead / Business Analyst to direct a cross-functional Agile team delivering PeopleSoft HCM solutions. You will be hands-on in requirements discovery, refinement, and traceability, coordinating with Product Owners, stakeholders, developers, and testers in a SAFe environment.

The role requires strong business analysis, facilitation, and team coordination skills, with delivery focus in a federal/government context and an on-site/hybrid work setup in Crystal City, VA.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret clearance.
• 5+ years in business analysis and agile software delivery.
• Experience coordinating or leading a cross-functional Agile team.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Boards and SAFe practices.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day coordination of a cross-functional Agile team of 8–12 developers, testers, analysts, and other contributors.
• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to capture requirements and translate into features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation.
• Facilitate elicitation sessions, interviews, and refinement activities to identify needs, dependencies and constraints.
• Maintain and refine the backlog in Azure DevOps, ensuring items are defined, prioritized, and traceable.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Release Management, testing, and other teams to resolve dependencies and risks.
• Help plan and execute Program Increments (PIs) and iterations, with objectives and risk tracking.
• Mentor team on Agile practices and escalate blockers when needed.
• Document current and future-state business processes and requirements.
