Job summary

ID.me is hiring a Senior Fullstack Software Development Engineer to join the Person team in Mountain View, CA. You’ll design and build systems that define a person’s identity and the APIs that serve it, ensuring security, consistency, and scale across the ecosystem.

You’ll own Backend for Frontend APIs, collaborate with design, set high standards for code quality, and mentor other engineers. This on-site role emphasizes architecture, performance, and reliability within a complex identity

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack production experience.
• 7+ years in at least one backend language (Python, Go, or Java) with modern frameworks.
• 7+ years of frontend development experience (Angular, React) in production.

Responsibilities

• Own design and implementation of major areas of the Person platform, ensuring identity data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-team partners to understand data consumption and embed it in systems.
• Design and implement end-to-end features across the stack, from data models to APIs and frontend.
