Innova Solutions is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Engineer for a hybrid role in Charlotte, NC. You will design, develop, test, and document software for large-scale programs, lead complex technology initiatives, and help shape engineering standards.

The ideal candidate will bring Java, Spring Boot, React, microservices, Kafka, and cloud experience, plus exposure to GenAI/LLM, integration with Workday/Verint, and a track record mentoring teams.

Senior Full Stack Java Engineer

Position type: Full Time - Contract Duration: 18+ Months
Location: Charlotte North Carolina (Hybrid)

You will:

• Lead complex technology initiatives, including companywide projects with broad impact.
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and best practices for engineering large-scale technology solutions.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document software for projects and programs.
• Review and analyze complex technology solutions for tactical and strategic objectives.
• Make decisions that influence companywide engineering practices, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with senior technical experts and external industry groups to resolve complex issues.
• Mentor peers and lead project teams.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with: Java Development Spring Boot React Microservices Kafka Cloud environments (OCP / Cloud Foundry, cloud deployment) GenAI / LLM development (agent creation, agentic AI, integrations). Experience in Contact Center Technology Development. Middleware development to bridge product gaps. Integration experience (e.g., Workday, Verint). UI maintenance to reduce reliance on third-party vendors. problem-solving skills and ability to ask the right questions during design and strategy phases.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $60/hr to $68/hr
