Innova Solutions is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (Intermediate) for a contract-to-hire role in Plano, TX. The position requires strong Java expertise and hands-on work with Spring, microservices, REST, and database technologies. 5 days onsite, with a pathway to permanent employment based on performance.

The candidate should have 3+ years of Java experience, familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD practices, and be comfortable in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Java programming experience.

Role Overview

We're Looking for a Full Stack Developer - Intermediate- Plano, TX.

Position type: Contract to Hire. Duration: 6+ Months.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Java programming. 5 days onsite. Right to hire role: The role not eligible for employer-sponsored immigration support. If converted it would be 601/602 (It depends on the candidate's performance and suitability to the role). Minimum 3 years of experience in Java programming (see JD in Skills section).

Interview Process

• 1.5 to 2 hours of technical interview (preferably and highly recommended in person).
• 30 minutes managerial round (optional).

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code using Java, JDBC, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Rest API, SQL.

• Strong programming skills in Core Java, JUnit, Cucumber, Oracle, PostgresSQL, Maven, Shell Script, Jenkins, IntelliJ and similar tools.
• Knowledge of messaging frameworks like JMS, IBM Active MQ, and Kafka.
• Experience with unit testing, automated testing, and concepts of Test Driven Development.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Proficient in Full Stack Development as well as multiple design techniques.
• Working proficiency in Full Stack toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks.
• Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security.
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages.
• Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of software.
