Innova Solutions is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid). You will lead SRE-focused initiatives, support production deployments, and enhance monitoring/observability across platforms.

The role requires OpenShift experience, scripting skills, and strong collaboration with onshore/offshore teams. Responsibilities include building dashboards, automating tasks, and driving reliability improvements while coordinating with Salesforce integrations and ServiceNow processes.

Title: Infrastructure Engineer Position type: Full Time - Contract Duration: 18+ Months Location: Charlotte North Carolina (Hybrid)

You will:

• Consult on moderately complex initiatives and deliverables, contributing to large-scale planning and resolution of engineering challenges.
• Participate in daily stand-ups focused on production health.
• Review overnight handoffs from offshore teams
• Investigate and resolve incidents, alerts, and support tickets.
• Assist with production deployments and infrastructure changes.
• Improve monitoring and observability capabilities.
• Build dashboards and alerting solutions.
• Develop automation to reduce manual support efforts.
• Support onboarding ("sunrising") of applications migrating to OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Drive continuous improvement in platform reliability and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), including monitoring, observability, alerting, dashboard creation, and incident response.
• experience with production deployments, containerization, and OpenShift (OCP).
• Experience in scripting (Python, Unix/Linux, Shell).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools: Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Prometheus, ThousandEyes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code / Automation (Terraform, Ansible).
• understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Demonstrated ability in Root Cause Analysis and problem resolution.
• Experience in Business Applications: Salesforce, nCino.
• Experience in Microsoft Copilot, AI-driven monitoring/observability, AI applications for non-functional requirements.
• Experience in ServiceNow, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation
• Experience software engineering, platform engineering, application support, or SRE.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in complex production environments.
• Hands-on Salesforce platform support (troubleshooting, deployments, integrations, workflows, APIs).
• Desire to influence and improve processes with fresh ideas and modern technical skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a positive, team-oriented mindset.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range and Benefits:

Pay Range: $48/hr to $53/hr *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
