Job summary

IronEagleX (IEX), a subsidiary of General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and modernize web apps with reliable APIs and scalable services. You’ll work across the stack in a microservice environment, driving modernization and data modeling initiatives.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams, delivering high-performance interfaces and backend capabilities, while ensuring security and reliability in a DoD context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in software engineering across front-end and back-end.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React experience.
• Strong Golang backend experience and REST/WebSocket design.
• Experience with microservices, databases, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and modernize full-stack web apps and services.
• Deliver responsive, accessible UIs with React/TS and robust APIs.
• Develop backend APIs and service logic in Golang.
• Integrate with shared services and data systems in a microservice platform.
• Improve architecture, maintainability, and observability across the stack.
