Job summary

Iron EagleX (IEX), a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), seeks a Senior Principal Agentic AI Full Stack Software Engineer to design, deploy, and sustain critical AI analytics components in Crystal City, VA. You will prototype and deliver data analytics capabilities, translating AI/ML concepts into reliable, user-centric software.

You will build AI-enabled web apps, analytics dashboards, and production APIs, incorporating RAG, tool calling, and LLM

Qualifications

• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable Python code.
• Experience building AI-enabled web apps or analytics dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies, containerization, RESTful APIs, and UI development.

Responsibilities

• Develop clean, maintainable Python code and AI-enabled web apps.
• Lead design/implementation of AI-enabled analytics with Streamlit/React.
• Design, develop, and integrate FastAPI-based services and APIs.
• Build and maintain user interfaces for AI/data analytics solutions.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments.
• Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Use Git for version control and collaboration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features.
