Job summary

Iron EagleX (IEX), a subsidiary of General Dynamics Information Technology, seeks a Principal Agentic AI Full Stack Software Engineer in Crystal City, VA. Lead AI analytics stack design, frontends, and production APIs.

You will implement retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, and secure, scalable backend services. You will deliver AI-enabled web apps with Streamlit/React, build RESTful APIs (FastAPI), and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Docker and relational databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of related experience with TS/SCI with polygraph eligibility is required.
• Experience building AI-enabled web apps and analytics dashboards.
• Proficiency with Python, web tech, APIs, and containerized deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and sustain AI analytics stack components including frontends, production APIs, and data layer.
• Develop clean, maintainable Python code and AI-enabled web applications.
• Build and maintain UI to make AI/data analytics accessible to end users.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments.
