Job summary

Iron EagleX (IEX), a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), seeks a Data Scientist‑Mid to support Defense & Intelligence Programs at USASOC, Ft. Bragg, NC.

You will work on data-driven solutions and leverage modern data science tools to deliver impactful results in dynamic environments. Required TS/SCI clearance, 5–8 years of related experience, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Current DoW TS/SCI clearance required.
• 5-8 years of related experience, including academic or internship-based data science work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Certifications: None required; cloud or ML-related certifications preferred.
• On‑Site 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to completion of specific programs and projects.
• Develop data-driven solutions to complex business challenges.
• Utilize advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in data.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and gathering techniques.
• Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experience, efficiencies, process improvements, and other business outcomes.
• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
• May develop processes and machine learning based tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• May coach and review the work of less experienced professionals.
• Works independently under general supervision.
