IEX/GDIT is seeking a Junior Full Stack Engineer/Developer to support Defense & Intelligence Programs at SOCCENT, MacDill AFB, FL. Anticipated start mid September 2026. Role emphasizes data-driven backend systems, microservices, and secure search capabilities.

Requirements include DoW TS/SCI clearance, 5–8 years of full stack experience, and a CS-related bachelor’s degree. On-site 5 days. AWS/Docker/DevSecOps familiarity preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

Full Stack Engineer/Developer-Junior will supportDefense & Intelligence Programs at Special Operations Command-Central (SOCCENT) located at MacDill AFB, FL. This roles has an anticipated start date of mid September 2026.

JOB DUTIES (INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)

• Assist in designing and maintaining data-driven backend systems supporting secure, high-performance search and analytics missions.

• Support development of backend services for data ingestion and retrieval, and help build APIs and microservices using Flask or FastAPI.

• Contribute to DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, Docker containerization, and infrastructure-as-code while assisting with EDA on CAI/PAI datasets.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript React and Python.

• Proficient in Flask or FastAPI and familiar with relational/non-relational databases including Postgres and Elasticsearch.

• Proficient with Git, SQLAlchemy, and basic CI/CD pipeline support.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Clearance: Current DoW TS/SCI Clearance is required.

• Experience: 5-8 years of related full stack development experience.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Certifications: None required; familiarity with AWS, Docker, and DevSecOps tools is preferred.

• Role requirements: 5 days on-site
