CVS Health is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to serve as the hands-on technical anchor for our engineering team, owning architecture and critical-path development while setting technical direction. This is a deeply hands-on role with active coding, design, and review responsibilities.

You will partner with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate goals into a practical technical roadmap and execution plan, while maintaining quality, security, and reliability across

Qualifications

7+ years in large-scale software development using Java, Spring Boot, React, REST APIs, JPA, and messaging.
5+ years designing and developing highly scalable microservices, web services, and REST APIs.
5+ years Agile development experience.
3+ years Python production-grade applications including API development and AI/ML integration.
3+ years is with Kafka or RabbitMQ (or equivalent).
2+ years in a technical lead role.
2+ years event-driven architectures and asynchronous integration patterns.
2+ years building Python data pipelines and AI-agent workflows.
2+ years deploying and operating services on cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
2+ years CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo).
2+ years GitHub or GitLab for source control.
2+ years Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and mentor engineers.
