Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to anchor the engineering team, owning architecture and critical-path development. You will mentor engineers and partner with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate goals into a technical roadmap while maintaining high standards of code quality, security, and reliability.

This hands-on role emphasizes designing, building, and reviewing code, with a focus on cloud-native microservices, AI/ML-friendly APIs, and modern CI/CD

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in large-scale software development across Java, Spring Boot, React, REST APIs, and related technologies.
• 5+ years designing and developing scalable microservices and web services.
• 5+ years in Agile development environments.
• 3+ years of production-grade Python API development (FastAPI/Flask) and AI/ML integration.
• 3+ years with distributed messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ/AWS SQS/SNS).
• 2+ years in a technical lead role.
• 2+ years of event-driven architectures and async integration patterns.
• 2+ years building Python-based data pipelines or AI-agent workflows.
• 2+ years deploying/operating services on cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• 2+ years of CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo).
• 2+ years of source management (GitHub or GitLab).
• 2+ years of containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and mentor engineers.
