CVS Health is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to act as the hands-on technical anchor for our engineering team. You will own architecture, drive critical-path development, and mentor engineers while aligning technical work with business goals.

Expect collaboration with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable software at scale. The role emphasizes hands-on design, implementation, and code reviews, with a focus on quality, security, and operational

Qualifications

• 7+ years in large-scale software development across Java/Spring Boot and React.
• 5+ years building scalable microservices and REST APIs.
• 5+ years in Agile environments.
• 3+ years Python production apps, APIs (FastAPI/Flask) incl. AI/ML integration.
• 2+ years with Kafka or equivalent messaging systems.
• 2+ years in technical lead roles and event-driven architectures.
• 2+ years Python data pipelines/AI agent workflows.
• 2+ years deploying services on cloud (GCP preferred).
• 2+ years with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and critical-path development for the engineering team.
• Mentor engineers and set technical direction across the team.
• Translate business goals into a technical roadmap and execution plan.
• Design, build, review code with a focus on quality, security and reliability.
