CVS Health is seeking a Senior Full‑Stack Developer to serve as the hands‑on technical anchor for our engineering team, owning architecture and critical‑path development directly while setting technical direction and mentoring engineers across the team. This is a deeply hands‑on role: most of the time is spent designing, building, and reviewing code, not delegating it.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in large-scale software development.
• 5+ years designing and developing highly scalable microservices.
• 5+ years Agile development experience.
• 3+ years with Python production-grade apps and AI/ML tooling.
• 2+ years as a technical lead mentoring engineers.
• 2+ years designing event-driven architectures and asynchronous patterns.
• 2+ years deploying services on cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• 2+ years with CI/CD tooling and source control (GitHub/GitLab).
• 2+ years containerization/orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and critical-path development directly while setting technical direction.
• Design, build, and review code across Java/Spring Boot, React, REST APIs.
• Mentor engineers across the team and collaborate with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate goals into a technical roadmap.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and operational reliability.
