MO is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to modernize VA eligibility and enrollment systems, serving millions of Veterans and families. You will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

Bring 5–8 years of experience, strong REST API skills, and a track record of collaboration in Agile environments. This remote role requires US citizenship and offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5–8 years of software development experience in a professional environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java development.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot.
• Experience developing REST APIs and web services.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
• Analyze and resolve complex software defects and production issues.
• Support enhancements and sustainment for applications using Java, Spring, Struts, JSP, EJB, JMS, WebLogic, Hibernate, Oracle.
• Collaborate with architects and senior developers on modernization initiatives.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and database integrations.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD processes, and deployments.
