Job summary

NinjaOne is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for the Emerging Products team. The role centers on backend development with Java/Kotlin and working proficiency in React/JavaScript. You will collaborate with data platform, reporting, product design, and owners to build new products from the ground up.

The team values scalable API-first architecture, observability, and AI-assisted development. Remote-friendly across the USA with optional hybrid offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, IT, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience with strong Java background.
• 4+ years building highly scalable software systems.
• Proficient in API design and REST/GraphQL services; gRPC a plus.
• Strong SQL skills and relational DB design.

Responsibilities

• Design and build API and serving layers for data-intensive products.
• Develop scalable backend services in Java and Kotlin with API-first mindset.
• Build data-driven product experiences with dashboards and workflows.
• Implement front-end components in React/TypeScript and ensure cohesive dataflow across layers.
• Lead end-to-end ownership from architecture to production troubleshooting.
