Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Emerging Products team. Primarily backend-focused with Java/Kotlin, you will work with data platform and reporting teams to build new products from ground up while contributing to frontend with React/TypeScript.

The role supports remote work in the USA with hybrid options at Austin, TX and Tampa, FL. You will own features end-to-end, tackle performance bottlenecks, and participate in architecture reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software development building production applications, strong Java background.
• 4+ years building highly scalable software systems.
• Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, and design principles.
• Experience designing REST/GraphQL services; gRPC is a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with React/TypeScript frontend, modern tooling, and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Design and build API/serving layer powering data-intensive experiences via REST/GraphQL.
• Develop scalable backend services in Java and Kotlin with API-first focus.
• Create data-driven product experiences with dashboards and workflows.
• Optimize data access patterns across APIs, DBs, caches, and analytics.
• Build React/TypeScript dashboards and reusable frontend components.
• Define contracts between frontend, APIs, and services; participate in reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues across the full stack with observability tools.
• Instrument front-end apps with telemetry for production insights.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development.
• Own features end-to-end from architecture to deployment and monitoring.
