Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for its Emerging Products team. The role centers on backend development in Java/Kotlin with strong React/JavaScript proficiency for the frontend.

You will collaborate with data platform and reporting teams, designers, and product owners to create new products from ground up. Location flexibility includes remote work within the USA with select states; hybrid options exist at official offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience building production applications, with strong experience in Java.
• 4+ years of experience with highly scalable software systems.
• Experience with REST / GraphQL services; gRPC is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and OOP design principles.
• Experience building frontend using React and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the API and serving layer powering data-intensive product experiences using REST and/or GraphQL.
• Develop scalable backend services with Java and Kotlin, focusing on API-first architecture, performance, reliability, and extensibility.
• Build data-driven product experiences transforming data into insights, dashboards, and customer workflows.
• Design and optimize data access patterns across APIs, relational databases, caching, and analytical sources.
• Build and maintain React/TypeScript user interfaces, dashboards, forms, and workflows with reusable components.
