Job summary

NinjaOne, a Unified IT Operations Platform serving 40,000+ customers globally, seeks a Senior Software Engineer for our Patching Team with a heavy emphasis on React and modern front-end development. You’ll partner with designers and engineers to deliver cohesive UI experiences and contribute to a scalable design system.

You’ll collaborate across teams to build accessible, high-performance interfaces, lead cross-team initiatives, and help evolve our frontend stack.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of JavaScript & CSS experience.
• 5+ years of React experience.
• Ability to manage instances in AWS at a basic level.
• Experience with Design System tools such as Figma and Storybook.
• Experience with accessibility, internationalization, adaptive UI, responsive design, and core UX considerations.
• Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks and writing effective tests.
• Habit of refactoring and improving systems over time.
• Provide constructive design and code feedback to teammates.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Component-based UI development focusing on composable, reusable elements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with designers and engineers to develop and implement design system components and patterns via React and Storybook.
• Collaborate with designers and product teams to create robust, extensible UI components.
• Write secure, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and lead cross-team initiatives, documenting processes thoroughly.
• Other duties as needed.
