Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Emerging Products team. The role emphasizes backend work with Java/Kotlin and strong React/TypeScript frontend contributions. You will collaborate with data platforms, reporting, designers, and product owners to create new products from the ground up.

You will design scalable APIs, optimize data access, and build data-driven experiences with dashboards and workflows, while ensuring quality and performance across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years of software development experience building production applications.
• 4+ years of experience with highly scalable software systems.
• Strong understanding of OOP design principles and data structures.
• Knowledge of REST/GraphQL services; gRPC is a plus.
• Comfortable writing and troubleshooting SQL with relational DB design.
• Expert knowledge of software quality and testing practices.
• 2+ years of React and modern frontend development.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals; maintainable contracts across components.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the API and serving layer powering data-intensive experiences using REST/GraphQL.
• Develop scalable backend services using Java and Kotlin with API-first focus.
• Build data-driven product experiences transforming operational data into insights, dashboards, workflows.
• Design and optimize data access patterns across APIs, databases, and caches for enterprise-scale workloads.
• Build and maintain React/TypeScript UIs including dashboards, forms, and workflows with reusable components.
• Establish clear contracts between frontends, APIs, and backend services.
• Participate in architecture reviews and product deployment from dev to production.
• Identify and solve performance and scalability bottlenecks across stack.
• Troubleshoot production issues with logs, metrics, traces, and debugging tools.
• Instrument frontend observability and telemetry for production insights.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate development.
• Participate in code reviews and document decisions; own features end-to-end.
