Job summary

Innovaccer Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer-III (Full-Stack) to own cross‑cutting engineering initiatives, design scalable systems, and drive AI‑assisted development across the lifecycle.

You will influence architecture across products and collaborate with Product, Design, AI, and Engineering leaders to deliver robust solutions. The role requires deep system thinking, strong coding skills, and a track record of taking ambiguous problems to production in a fast‑paced AI‑native

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software engineering experience with ownership of complex systems and initiatives.
• Hands-on coding across the full stack with depth in one or more areas.
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS, or equivalent frontend tech.
• Strong backend experience with Node.js, Python, Java, or similar.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, databases, cloud-native architectures, scalability, reliability, and design.
• Experience building production systems at scale with architectural trade-offs.
• Ability to take ambiguous problems and drive them to production.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) and integrate into workflow.
• Solid understanding of AI-native engineering practices (AIDLC) and associated tooling.
• Strong system-thinking, problem-solving, and ability to identify root causes.
• Excellent engineering judgment and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive cross-cutting engineering initiatives from problem definition to production.
• Design and build scalable, reliable, secure full-stack systems.
• Make architectural decisions considering performance, cost, operability, and maintainability.
• Apply AI-assisted development across the lifecycle using AI tools.
• Lead architectural design discussions, reviews, and cross-team initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards through reviews and design discussions.
• Identify and resolve problems with a bias for ownership and action.
