Job summary

Innovaccer Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer-III (Full-Stack) to own complex, end-to-end engineering problems and drive architectural decisions across systems. You will work with Product, Design, AI, and Engineering leaders to turn ambiguous challenges into scalable, reliable solutions.

The role emphasizes AI-native practices, ownership, high-quality code, and leadership without formal authority, across a fast-moving AI-enabled engineering environment in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of software engineering experience with ownership of complex systems
• Strong full-stack coding skills across JS/TS, React, and backend tech
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS, Node.js, Python, or similar
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, databases, cloud-native architectures
• Experience designing production systems at scale and making architectural trade-offs
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools as an integral part of engineering workflow
• Strong system-thinking and problem-solving skills with bias for action
• Excellent engineering judgment and collaboration across teams
• Demonstrated technical leadership without formal authority
• Bias toward ownership, execution, learning, and measurable impact

Responsibilities

• Own and drive complex, cross-cutting engineering initiatives from problem definition through production
• Design and build scalable, reliable, secure, full-stack systems
• Make architectural decisions focusing on performance, scalability, and operability
• Apply AI-assisted development across the lifecycle using AI coding agents
• Champion AI-native software development practices and evolve workflows
• Think in systems, understanding dependencies across applications and data
• Identify opportunities to simplify systems and reduce technical debt
• Partner with Product, AI, Design, and Engineering to translate needs into solutions
• Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews
• Raise engineering bar through reviews, mentorship, and standards
• Proactively identify problems and drive them to resolution
