Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC seeks a senior full-stack software engineer to build production-grade frontend and backend systems for a growing enterprise. You will collaborate with product and engineering leaders to deliver high-quality customer experiences and mentor teammates.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience across frontend and backend, strong React/Next.js/TypeScript and Kotlin/Java backgrounds, API design, SQL databases, and cloud/containerized environments.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years building production full-stack systems across frontend and backend.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Strong backend experience with Kotlin, Java, Spring, or similar technologies.
• Experience building APIs and working with SQL databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Knowledge of distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and containerized environments.
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, OpenTelemetry, etc.).
• Experience using AI tools in development workflows and agentic patterns.
• Experience with event streaming (Kafka).
• Ability to own the full software development lifecycle (design, implementation, testing, deployment).
• Able to ensure systems are observable via logs, metrics, and tracing.
