Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a senior full stack software engineer to contribute to world-class frontend and backend solutions for a growing enterprise. You will collaborate with product and engineering leaders to drive high-impact projects and deliver high-quality customer experiences.

As an experienced engineer, you will mentor teammates, influence architectural decisions, and own the full software development lifecycle, including design, testing, and deployment.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years building production systems full stack across frontend and backend.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Strong backend experience with Kotlin, Java, Spring, or similar technologies.
• Experience building APIs and working with SQL databases such as MariaDB and PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of distributed systems including asynchronous processing.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP and containerized environments.
• Strong experience with observability tools such as Grafana or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience using AI tools in development workflows and familiarity with agentic patterns.
• Experience with event streaming systems such as Kafka.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with 3rd party integrations is ideal.
• Experience with asynchronous and event-driven systems.
• Ability to collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to drive technical decisions and deliver business outcomes.
• Ability to own the software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
