Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a senior full‑stack software engineer to build world‑class frontend and backend solutions for a growing enterprise. You will collaborate with product and engineering leaders to drive high‑impact projects and deliver high-quality customer experiences.

As an experienced engineer you will mentor team members, shape engineering practices, and own the software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing and deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building full-stack production systems across frontend and backend.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Strong backend experience with Kotlin, Java, Spring or similar.
• Experience building APIs and working with SQL databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with AWS or GCP and containerized environments.
• Observability tools experience (Grafana, OpenTelemetry, etc.).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and agentic patterns.
• Experience with Kafka and event streaming.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Build world-class frontend and backend solutions across systems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders on high-impact projects.
• Mentor teammates and influence engineering practices.
• Own the software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Ensure observability through logs, metrics, and tracing.
• Contribute to AI-assisted development workflows using tools like Claude.
• Drive high-quality customer experiences and mission-critical outcomes.
