CVS Health is seeking a Senior Full‑Stack Developer to serve as the hands‑on technical anchor for our engineering team, owning architecture and critical‑path development while guiding direction and mentoring engineers.

This role partners with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate goals into a technical roadmap, while upholding the highest standards of code quality, security, and operational reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in large-scale software development and cloud-native apps using Java, Spring Boot, React, REST APIs, JPA, and related technologies
• 5+ years designing and developing scalable microservices, web services, and REST APIs
• 5+ years in Agile development environments
• 3+ years building production-grade Python apps/services incl. API development and AI/ML integrations
• 3+ years with distributed messaging systems like Kafka or equivalents
• 2+ years in a technical lead role
• 2+ years designing event-driven architectures and asynchronous integration using message queues/streaming
• 2+ years building Python-based data pipelines or AI-agent workflows
• 2+ years deploying/operating services on cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
• 2+ years CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo)
• 2+ years with source management tools (GitHub, GitLab)
• 2+ years containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and mentor engineers

Responsibilities

• Hands-on design, build, and code reviews; mentor engineers across the team
• Partner with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate goals into a technical roadmap and execution plan
• Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and operational reliability
