Job summary

The Bronx is seeking a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer for a tech startup building AI infrastructure. The role is 100% remote with EST or CST preferences. You will own features end-to-end, design scalable APIs, and work with LLMs, embeddings, and AI agents to deliver high‑impact solutions.

Required 5+ years of software engineering, strong Python/JavaScript, React experience, and familiarity with cloud, Kubernetes, and databases. Equity and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python and JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
• Production experience with React.
• Experience developing backend APIs and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Cloud, Kubernetes, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Rust, Go, or another statically typed language is a plus.
• Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, and prompt evaluation is a plus.
• Profiling tools and performance optimization techniques are preferred.

Responsibilities

Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Senior Full Stack AI Engineer for our client, a tech startup building infrastructure for organizations adopting AI at scale! This is a full-time, direct hire position offering a 100% remote schedule (EST or CST preferred).

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This full-time position offers an annual base salary up to $210k, commensurate with experience.
