Job summary

Amazon in Hollister, CA is seeking a Senior Operations Manager responsible for budgetary objectives, people development and site operations. The role includes leading a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring for performance, and strengthening leadership bench within the Fulfillment Center.

You will drive Lean initiatives, ensure safety, quality and customer experience across inbound or outbound operations, and collaborate with support staff to secure resources for projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Drives creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and Lean initiatives to meet the business plan.
• Responsible for overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations.
• Sets and clarifies requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and provides feedback.
• Leverages the Operations and Area Managers by sourcing ideas and building improvement plans.
• Ensures best practices are shared across departments, shifts and network.
• Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers for resources and project support.
