Job summary

Amazon in Hollister, CA is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee all budgetary, people development, and operational objectives at the fulfillment center. The role leads a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching to meet performance goals and build leadership bench strength while enhancing employee relations.

Responsibilities include driving Lean and quality initiatives, ensuring safety, quality and customer experience, and coordinating with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety and IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Drives creation of quality initiatives and Lean initiatives to meet business plan.
• Responsible for safety, quality and performance and customer experience of Inbound or Outbound operations.
• Set and clarify requirements for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and accountability.
• Leverage Managers to source ideas and create improvement plans for the area.
• Share best practices across departments, shifts and network.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and Sr. Operations Managers to secure resources for projects.
