Job summary

Amazon in Staten Island, NY seeks a Senior Operations Manager to oversee the entire operations of a Fulfillment Center, including people development, process optimization, and meeting customer promises. You will lead 1,000+ salaried and hourly employees, coach leaders, drive engagement, and build leadership bench strength across a fast-paced, large-scale facility.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with preferred experience in training program development, multi-site oversight,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience leading 100+ hourly employees.
• Experience developing or delivering training programs across multiple sites or regions; project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Owns and delivers the operational budget for functional area, including safety, productivity, financial and labor planning.
• Lead a dynamic team of Operations and Area Managers to achieve operational excellence.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, Maintenance Engineering, Safety, IT and other leaders to secure resources for projects.
