Zusammenfassung

TYLin’s Aviation team seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design fuel storage and distribution systems for airports, ports, and rail facilities, with focus on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection as applicable.

You will lead technical analyses, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with NFPA, API, and related standards. Domestic and international projects offered.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s a plus).
• 8+ years of fuel systems mechanical engineering experience, ideally in aviation.
• Technical knowledge of fuel system controls, emergency fuel shut off, leak detection, and inventory management systems.
• HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design knowledge.
• Working knowledge of key engineering standards and fuel systems related design criteria.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality design deliverables with attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset and pride in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• PE license preferred or in progress.

Aufgaben

• Lead design of fuel storage and distribution systems for airports, ports, and rail yard facilities.
• Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design for industrial facilities.
• Prepare contract drawings, specifications, and design documentation for fueling projects.
• Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and surge modeling.
• Apply NFPA, API, ATA 103, EI 1540, JIG, ASHRAE, and local standards.
• Collaborate with architects, structural and electrical engineers, and fire safety specialists.
• Support QA/QC reviews and mentor junior engineers.
