Job summary

TYLin’s Aviation team is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design fuel storage and distribution systems for airports, ports and railyards. The role emphasizes technical excellence and constructible solutions for complex facilities.

You will collaborate with architects, structural and electrical engineers, and fire protection specialists to deliver integrated designs, with experience in NFPA, API and ASHRAE standards and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydraulic analysis, and surge

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; PE license preferred.
8+ years of fuel systems mechanical engineering experience, ideally in aviation.
Proficient with NFPA, API, ATA 103, EI 1540, JIG, ASHRAE and local codes.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydraulic and surge analyses is required.

Responsibilities

Support the mechanical design of fuel storage and distribution systems.
Coordinate HVAC, plumbing and fire protection for industrial facilities.
Prepare drawings, specifications and design reports for fueling projects.
Perform engineering calculations and modelling to ensure safe, efficient designs.
Collaborate with architects, structural, electrical, and fire protection engineers.
