Meltwater is seeking a frontend platform leader to drive development and evolution of our frontend platform at scale. You will blend hands-on engineering with team leadership, guiding UI direction across design systems, performance, and architecture.

You will own complex frontend systems end-to-end and set high standards for quality, accessibility, and reliability. Collaborating with design, backend, and AI teams, you will shape product direction, define long-term UI strategy, and mentor

Qualifications

• Expertise in React and TypeScript with architectural decision-making at scale.
• Proven experience leading frontend teams or acting as a technical lead on complex systems.
• Track record owning and delivering large-scale, production-critical frontend systems.
• Experience driving design systems, performance improvements, and platform work.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance tradeoffs, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of frontend engineers, owning delivery, execution quality, and technical direction.
• Own complex frontend systems end-to-end from design through production health.
• Drive org-wide frontend initiatives across design systems and performance.
• Define and evolve frontend architecture to support scalability and rapid iteration.
• Establish high standards for code quality, testing, and maintainability.
• Mentor engineers and raise the bar for engineering quality, performance, and accessibility.
• Partner with design, backend, and AI/ML teams to shape product direction.
