Job summary

Meltwater is seeking a senior frontend leader to steer the frontend platform, guiding architecture, design systems, and performance at scale. You will mentor engineers, own delivery quality, and shape product direction across UI and AI-driven workflows.

This role combines hands-on engineering with cross‑functional influence, partnering with design, backend, and AI/ML teams to ensure high‑quality, accessible experiences and scalable frontend systems.

Qualifications

• Experience leading frontend teams or acting as a technical lead on complex systems.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale, production‑critical frontend systems.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance tradeoffs and scalability.
• Experience with design systems, architecture decisions, and cross‑team initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of frontend engineers, owning delivery, execution quality, and technical direction.
• Own complex frontend systems end-to-end from design through long‑term health.
• Drive org‑wide initiatives in design systems, performance, and frontend standards.
• Define frontend architecture to support scalability, reliability, and rapid iteration.
• Establish and enforce high standards for code quality, testing, and maintainability.
• Guide performance and reliability improvements in production and help diagnose issues.
