Job summary

Meltwater is seeking a frontend leader to drive the development and evolution of our frontend platform. You will mix hands-on engineering with team leadership, shaping UI across the product and partnering with design systems, performance, and frontend architecture initiatives.

Qualifications

• Expertise in React and TypeScript with scale architecture experience.
• Experience leading frontend teams or as technical lead on complex systems.
• Track record delivering large-scale frontend systems with production readiness.
• Experience driving cross-team initiatives (design systems, performance, platform work).
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend engineers, own delivery, quality and technical direction.
• Own complex frontend systems end-to-end from design to production health.
• Drive org-wide initiatives across design systems, performance, and standards.
• Define frontend architecture to support scalability and rapid iteration.
• Establish high code quality, testing, and maintainability standards.
• Identify and resolve systemic performance and reliability issues in production.
• Build and scale interactive, data-heavy applications and AI-driven workflows.
• Collaborate with design, backend, and AI/ML teams to shape product direction.
• Guide long-term UI strategy and cross-team architectural decisions.
