Scribd, Inc. is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to help build frontend features for our next generation web product experiences.

You will ship production-critical frontend code and define patterns that other teams can build on, while collaborating with ML/AI and backend engineers for durable architectural changes. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, focus on performance and maintainability, and help bring up a new Design System for the Scribd brand.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional frontend software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js or similar modern web frameworks.
• Experience with microfrontend architectures, monorepos, or shared frontend platforms.

Responsibilities

• Ship production-critical frontend code and define patterns for other teams.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Help build and scale the Scribd frontend ecosystem in collaboration with ML/AI and backend engineers.
