Hims & Hers Health, Inc. is seeking a visionary Sr. Staff Engineer to define architectural direction for customer-facing frontend systems and lead scale initiatives across the organization.

You will drive performance, accessibility, and design-system initiatives, while mentoring engineers and aligning tech with product and business outcomes. This remote role supports cross-functional collaboration at scale.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong record of group-level technical leadership.
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks and libraries (React, Next.js, GraphQL).
• Full-stack capability with Node.js and Python.
• Deep expertise in UI performance, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Experience scaling shared frontend infrastructure and design systems.
• Ability to drive architectural clarity and alignment across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architectural vision for customer-facing frontend systems.
• Lead cross-org initiatives for long-term scale and foundational UI capabilities.
• Drive frontend excellence, performance, accessibility, and visual polish.
• Establish patterns and governance for quality, resilience, and observability.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to align architecture with goals.
• Mentor senior leaders and engineers to raise technical standards and capabilities.
• Lead cross-team initiatives from inception to execution, removing blockers.
