Job summary

BBVA in New York seeks a Front Office Support specialist to provide frontline trading support within Global Markets Sales & Trading. You will assist in trade capture, confirmations, and ad-hoc reporting, while evaluating processes for efficiency and accuracy.

The role requires knowledge of GM products (Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives), excellent Excel skills (VBA a plus), attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external clients.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required
• SIE and Series 7 licenses required
• NFA Long Tracking Proficiency exam or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Experience supporting Securities Finance or related front-to-back trade lifecycle is a plus

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor trades registered by Front Office to ensure they flow through GM systems
• Review reconciliations and propose improvements for efficiency
• Trade capture and booking of OTC derivatives and securities
• Monitor and control transaction-based reporting
• Support project work on process improvements, system implementations, and new market rollouts
• Escalate urgent issues to management in a timely manner
