Job summary

BBVA in New York is seeking a Front Office Support specialist to provide functional support within Global Markets Sales & Trading, including calculation and valuation of traded operations, ad-hoc reports, and trade capture of OTC derivatives and securities.

You will collaborate with Sales & Trading, Back Office, Compliance, and Engineering to improve processes and systems, review reconciliations, and support new market rollouts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of front-to-back trade lifecycle for GM products (Repo, Fixed Income Securities Derivatives, FX, Structured Notes).
• Strong Excel skills, especially VBA, and attention to detail.
• Undergraduate degree required; SIE and Series 7; NFA Long Track Proficiency or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor trades registered by Front Office to ensure flow through Global Markets systems.
• Review and correct breaks in automated interfaces; propose reconciliations if needed.
• Trade capture and booking of OTC derivatives and securities.
