Job summary

Global Bank in Midtown Manhattan seeks a Senior Front Office Support Analyst to own production support of the ION platform on the fixed income trading desk. You will diagnose and fix real-time issues across ION, servers, and connectivity to ensure smooth pricing, RFQ flow, and trade booking.

This is a hands-on, desk-facing technology role requiring collaboration with traders, developers, and vendor support to implement root-cause fixes and prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of front office application or production support in banking or trading.
• Strong hands-on ION experience supporting fixed income desks.
• Solid understanding of fixed income lifecycle from quote to booking.
• SQL and Unix/Linux troubleshooting skills.
• FIX connectivity troubleshooting experience.
• Able to communicate with traders when issues arise.
• Onsite in Midtown four days a week.

Responsibilities

• Provide front office production support for fixed income desks on the ION stack.
• Troubleshoot pricing, RFQ, order routing, gateway, and STP issues in real time.
• Run start-of-day and end-of-day checks and own incidents through root cause analysis and permanent fix.
• Manage ION configuration changes, upgrades, releases, and testing under strict change management.
• Query and analyze trade data in SQL and investigate issues through Unix/Linux logs.
• Partner with development, infrastructure, middle office, and ION vendor support on platform issues and projects.
