Job summary

Santander Holdings USA Inc is seeking a skilled professional to join the Front Office Technology ION Team in New York. The role focuses on designing, developing, implementing and maintaining trading systems for Fixed Income, with emphasis on ION infrastructure and vendor integrations.

You will evaluate project needs, plan resources, and contribute to upgrades, while coordinating with stakeholders across desks and technology. A Bachelor’s degree and capital markets experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
• Experience in development, support or business analysis within Capital Markets (Fixed Income, Equities, Securitized Products) and strong ION Fixed Income background.
• Experience deploying and integrating vendor platforms (ION, Bloomberg TOMS, Fidessa, Murex).
• Ability to build solid working relationships, analyze complex issues, and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well under pressure with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Owns the on-premises ION infrastructure and analyzes business requirements.
• Implements solutions and performs/testing platform upgrades.
• Designs, develops, implements and maintains trading systems for Fixed Income businesses.
